Radio Times SmallBizPod Review
By Alex Bellinger, 19th December 2006 at 10:47 pm
That venerable TV & radio listings magazine the Radio Times has for a little while been reviewing its pick of the best podcasts.
SmallBizPod was recently featured - many thanks for the review guys!
It’s also good to see some mates and fellow independent podcasters mentioned over recent weeks, not least the sublime, ’silky voiced lothario’ podcastpaul and the terrific Wiggly Wigglers podcast.
Before liberalisation of TV listings and the goggle box became the google box, the Radio Times was the BBC bible of what was on and worth watching each week. It has a certain sense of British tradition and heritage, like Blue Peter or Top of the Pops or the Today programme or the Queen’s speech.
Of course, now it’s marched in to the modern age and it’s online version is excellent. Nevertheless, the review has still made me feel a little like I’ve just been awarded a Blue Peter badge. A proud day indeed!
