Social Enterprise Recycling London
By Alex Bellinger, 3rd January 2007 at 3:12 pm
The London Development Agency has announced today that its enhance business support programme has received a further
£925,000 grant and will manage £2 million in capital funding to support businesses in the capital’s recycling sector.
The project has already created 170 ‘green’ businesses, many of which have been social enterprises and SMEs. More details on how to apply for funding are available at the enhance website.
‘Green’ and ’social’ are becoming increasingly important words in the world of startups and I’d expect significant growth for these types of business over the next 12-24 months. Expect a podcast on the subject very soon.
