I had the great pleasure of attending the Startups Awards yesterday afternoon to mix with some inspiring new businesses at an event that had a real buzz to it.

Personally I wonder about the validity of this sort of exercise. Yes of course there can be awards for business, but supposing someone is involved in manufacturing something under a franchise agreement. [...]
