£7 Million Boost For Hertfordshire Business Centre

Thanks to a £2.9 million grant from the East of England Development Agency (EEDA), the Hertfordshire Business Incubation Centre (HBIC) is to expand.
Together with support of £1.2 million from Stevenage Borough Council and £2.7 million from the Department of Communities and Local Government, the centre will be able to offer more mentoring, corporate services and accommodation for innovative local businesses.
The new HBIC building will increase the space available to over 50,000 sq ft allowing additional business events and a purpose built conferencing facility for networking.
It is also hoped that by maintaining the supply of business incubation services in the area, it will help stimulate new business and create new jobs locally.
