By SmallBizPod, 22nd October 2007 at 8:10
The self-proclaimed ‘private bank of choice’ for successful UK entrepreneurs, Coutts & Co, has linked up with Cranfield School of Management to provide more than 100 of its bankers a better insight into fast growth business and the motivations of business founders.
Nick Pollard, Coutts & Co Managing Director, Private Banking commented:
We are really excited about the launch of the new Private Banking Academy at Coutts. We wish to maintain our position as one of the UK?s leading private banks and supporting the training of our people is fundamental to achieving this in an ever-changing market place.
Cranfield?s Bettany Centre for Entrepreneurial Performance and Economics is one of the leading business schools focusing on entrepreneurship.
This kind of partnership is another example of how important the entrepreneurial customer base is to larger organisations. It remains to be seen whether the more informed Coutts banker is appreciated by Britain’s high-flying business elite.
