The deadline for the prestigious Queen’s Awards for Enterprise is coming up fast.  Anyone wishing to nominate businesses or individuals need to do so before 31 October.

Among the categories is an award for individuals encouraging entrepreneurial skills and attitudes in others.  Entrepreneurs, business people, teachers and educational professionals are amongst those being urged to nominate mentors and colleagues for the QAEP (Queen’s Award for Enterprise Promotion).

Steve Brice, Secretary of The Queen’s Awards Office, comments:

Previous QAEP recipients have told us how much it means to them for their efforts to be recognised in this way, spurring them on with renewed vigour. If you know anyone working tirelessly away behind the scenes to encourage tomorrow’s entrepreneurs, I urge you to nominate them today.
