Enterprise Week 2008 Announced

Enterprise Week 2008 to take place 17-23 November.

makeyourmarkMake Your Mark, a national campaign to encourage an entrepreneurial spirit in young people, today announced that Enterprise Week 2008 would take place on 17-23 November.

Last year’s Enterprise Week was arguably the most successful with some 5,270 events organised throughout the country to encourage people to be more enterprising.

Although Enterprise Week, or perhaps more accurately the government’s enterprise policy, has been received skeptically in some quarters, I think Make Your Mark has positioned the week well.

It’s not about encouraging more entrepreneurs necessarily, more about inspiring entrepreneurial spirit which will benefit young people wherever they end up working, whether in the public or private sectors.
