Greenbank Scoops Queen’s Award for Innovation

A Derbyshire-based green tech company has won the innovation award at this year’s Queen’s Award for Enterprise. Greenbank develops products which help coal fired power station reduce emissions, use less coal and limit the amount of residual ash going to landfill.
Greenbank manager director, Charles Conroy, said:
We believe the recognition and visibility that the award brings will help us make further in-roads into addressing climate change issues within the power generation industry across the globe.
Charles was one of the team to undertake a management buy-out of the company 10 years ago. Part of an international group, the company counts Eon, Scottish Power, NPower and Corus among its customers.
