Queen’s Awards call for entries

Call for entrires for Queen’s Awards for Enterpise to recognise successful businesses and promoters of entrepreneurship.

queensawards Winners of last year’s Queen’s Awards for Enterprise will attend a reception at Buckingham Palace tonight. Meanwhile entries open today for the 2009 awards which recognise outstanding businesses and individuals from all sectors.

The deadline for the 2009 Awards is midnight on 31 October 2008 and applications can be made on-line at www.queensawards.org.uk.

Businesses can enter any of three categories in the awards: innovation, international trade, and sustainable development.

As well as recognising successful businesses, there are also awards for individuals who have done important work to inspire entrepreneurship in the UK.
