Website Aims To Meet Small Business Green Needs
By SmallBizPod, 16th January 2008 at 11:52
Today sees the launch of OneWorldEnergy which claims to offer free energy audits and simple, honest advice and products to help homeowners and small businesses make themselves greener in less than 10 minutes.
The site, which is a little like a nascent ‘moneysupermarket.com’ for the green market, is in essence an aggregator of green services from the likes of CarbonNeutral Company, Greenhelpline, Ethical Superstore, Mark Group and perhaps less obviously the likes of E’on, British Gas, EDF and nPower.
Founder of the site, Rudi Schogger, said today:
I suppose you could call us a conduit. The site makes money from commissions on the products and services supplied by our carefully selected partners.
Interesting to see another ‘green’ business launch. Interesting too that major players in the marketplace are already working with partners in affiliate-style lead generation for sales. Clearly ethical and environmental business is becoming big business.
