The Fast Growth Business Awards
First off, if your business is expanding, has had £1 million plus turnover in the year to end December 2009 and has fewer than 500 employees, then the Fast Growth Business Awards are for you.
The panel of judges includes online Dragon, Julie Meyer, and King of Shaves entrepreneur Will King. Categories to enter include Young Entrepreneur of the Year, Social Enterprise of the Year and Family Business of the Year.

The Smarta 100
Dragon Deborah Meaden, Bebo Founder Michael Birch and our friends at Smarta.com are seeking the UK’s smartest businesses to be recognised in the inaugural Smarta 100 list.
Any business doing something unique, disruptive, innovative or making a special contribution to their local communities can enter.
Your business must be privately owned in the UK employing fewer than 50 people. The smartest 100 will be announced during February, so get your entries in now.
Manufacturing Excellence Awards
If you run a manufacturing business, then these awards held by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers are for you.
Recognising the very best in British manufacturing, categories include awards for customer focus, small to medium-sized business of the year, sustainable manufacturing and process innovation.
Entries can be submitted online. Closing date 31 January 2010.
