Fast Growth For Maximuscle

Feeling a little bleary-eyed today after a night out at the first Fast Growth Business Awards, I could probably do with some of the stamina enhancing products developed by overall winners Maximuscle.

The Watford-based sports nutrition company walked away with the main prize as well as ‘Product Manufacturer of the Year’ and ‘Angel or VC-backed Business of the Year’.  Others to shine at the awards included JoJo Maman Bebe and Big Mouth Media.

Someone else who certainly got noticed at the event was a surprisingly flirty Adrienne Lawler of Sky News.  Her innuendo-laden commentary was worthy of Graham Norton and certainly had a few hard-nosed businessmen blushing like brides.

All in all the event put on by Crimson Publishing was an entertaining one. There were some great business stories there on the night, some of which I hope to bring to you on SmallBizPod over the coming months.
