Universities offer new programme to inspire a new generation of graduates from black and ethnic minorities.
Black and ethnic minority entrepreneurs are being held up as role models in a new scheme at the Aston and Birmingham City Universities designed to inspire a new generation of graduates to seriously consider setting up their own businesses.
The stories, experiences and advice of successful business people from ethnic minorities will be presented to students through what the universities are calling a ‘virtual learning environment’.
Dr Javed Hussain from Birmingham City University Business School will be outlining the project at the Institute For Small Business and Entrepreneurship conference in Glasgow on 7-9 November.
