Vodafone extends its Mobile Clicks competition to UK startups and developers in association with Mobile Monday group.
A competition to inspire startups and individual developers to create a new mobile site or service has been launched today by Vodafone and mobile industry community group Mobile Mondays.
The Vodafone Mobile Clicks 2009 competition has a prize fund of €150,000 and builds on the successful event piloted in The Netherlands last year.
A geo-locational social networking service, NuLaz, that mashed up Facebook and Googlemaps to help people find their friends while on the move was one of the winners in 2008.
The competition will comprise three selection rounds running from April to September 2009, with a panel of mobile expert judges deciding a winner sometime in September.
