SME NewsHome Business Awards 2009 launched
Awards to recognise home business owners and 5 to 9 businesses being built around the UK in people’s spare time.
With the launch this week of the Home Business Awards 2009, it’s that time of year again when all home-based businesses have a chance to be recognised on a national stage for all their kitchen table entrepreneurial prowess.
This year’s awards highlight four main categories, ‘Home Business of the Year’, ‘Home Business Couple of the Year’, ‘Home Office of the Year’, ‘Young Home Business Owner of the Year’.
A new category introduced in 2009 focuses on everyone building a business from home in their spare time – the so-called 5 to 9ers.
Winners will be announced at the Enterprise Nation Conference on Home Enterprise Day on Friday 20th November.
The deadline for Home Business Awards entries is Friday 6th November.
